We Drone is published by wewe (Werner Masseglia), Rue d'en haut 33, 7830 Silly, Belgium, company no. 1032.232.725. wewe is the controller for this website. For the app, wewe holds no personal data (see below), so there is nothing to control on our side. Apple and Google are independent controllers of the purchase data they process for their own services. Contact for any question about this Policy: hello.wewe.apps@gmail.com.
This section covers the website (www.wewe-apps.com), not the app. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site. It runs in Google Consent Mode (basic mode): consent is denied by default and the Google tag is not even loaded, so no cookie is set and no data is sent to Google until you accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, nothing is set or sent. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookies” link in the footer: withdrawing consent stops the measurement and deletes the Google Analytics cookies of this site. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a) and the ePrivacy rules on access to your device). The data is processed by Google: see Google's Privacy Policy. The website needs no account and uses no other tracker.
We do not collect, receive, store on a server, sell or share any personal data through the app. On the App Store the app is declared Data Not Collected. The code of the app makes no network request of its own, and it contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no crash reporter. Apart from standard libraries that run entirely on your device (such as AndroidX on Android), the only third-party code is the purchase library of your platform: Apple's StoreKit, part of iOS, on iPhone; Google's Play Billing library, which embeds Google components, on Android.
The app saves the items below on your device only, in its private storage (UserDefaults on iOS, the app's private SharedPreferences on Android). None of it contains your name, email address, account or a device identifier.
| What | What it is for | Platform |
|---|---|---|
Exam countryWD_Market | applies the right national scoring to the mock exam | iOS, Android |
Introduction already seenWD_OnboardingDone | shows the introduction screen once | iOS, Android |
Free mock exam already usedWD_FreeMockExamConsumed | applies the free limit: one mock exam | iOS, Android |
Purchase entitlements (cache)WD_OwnedProducts | keeps Pro unlocked when the store is not reachable (on Android the purchase status is read again from Google Play and is not stored) | iOS only |
Last result for each questionWD_LastResultByQuestion | feeds the “My mistakes” review | iOS, Android |
Lessons readWD_ReadLessons | marks the lessons you have read | iOS, Android |
Review requestWD_PassedExamCount, WD_ReviewPromptedForVersion | counts passed mock exams and the version already asked, so the system rating prompt is not repeated | iOS only |
Question of the day and streakWD_Daily_Day, WD_Daily_QuestionID, WD_Daily_AnsweredDay, WD_Streak, WD_StreakBest | day drawn, question drawn, last day answered, streak and best streak | iOS, Android |
On iOS, two older entries left by versions before 2 September 2026 (WD_LastMockExamDay, WD_MockExamCountToday) are still read, so that a mock exam already taken is not given back.
Backups on iOS. If you back up your iPhone (iCloud backup or a computer backup), these preferences may be included in that backup. That backup belongs to your Apple account and is governed by Apple; we have no access to it.
Backups on Android. Backup is turned off for the app: nothing is saved to Google's cloud backup and nothing is carried over by device-to-device transfer. As a consequence, reinstalling the app or changing phone erases your progress (lessons read, streak, last results). The Pro purchase is not lost: restore it from Google Play with “Restore purchase”.
Erasing. On iOS, deleting the app deletes this data. On Android, uninstalling the app, or Settings > Apps > We Drone > Storage > Clear data, deletes it. We never see it and hold no copy, so we could not retrieve it.
The optional Pro unlock is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. On iPhone it is processed by Apple (StoreKit), on Android by Google Play (Google Play Billing). The app only learns, on your device, whether the purchase is active: we receive no payment details, no email address, no Apple ID and no Google account. On Android, the purchase library dialogues with the Google Play app on your device; any technical data exchanged with Google as part of the purchase is exchanged by that app, not by ours: that is Google's processing, under Google's privacy policy. Refunds and purchase history are handled by Apple or Google Play.
After a passed mock exam, you can share a result card. It is generated on your device, shows the result of the mock exam (score, scale, category, date) and carries no name, identifier or personal metadata. It is shared only when you tap Share, through the system share sheet; the app does not know where the image goes, and we never receive it. On Android, a temporary copy of the image is kept in the app's cache so that the share sheet can read it.
The code of the app makes no network request. On Android, the only permission the manifest requests from the system is BILLING, which lets the app ask the Google Play app for the purchase. It declares neither INTERNET nor ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: on Android, the app has no network access of its own. The purchase itself is handled by the Google Play app, a separate process. The app asks for no access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, storage or accounts. On iOS, the app asks for no permission.
The app does not track you across other apps or websites. On iOS it therefore never shows the App Tracking Transparency prompt. On Android it declares no advertising-identifier permission. This version (1.3) contains no advertising and no advertising identifier.

The app is a revision tool for a civil aviation exam and is not directed at children under 13. It is aimed at exam candidates, whose minimum age is set by the State where the exam is taken. As the app collects no data, it collects none from minors either.
The GDPR grants you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent. For the app, we hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or delete: the data lives on your device, under your sole control. For the website, withdraw your consent at any time with the “Cookies” link in the footer. For purchase data, exercise your rights with Apple (apple.com/legal/privacy) or Google (policies.google.com/privacy), which are responsible for that data. You may also write to us at hello.wewe.apps@gmail.com, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority (in Belgium, the Data Protection Authority, autoriteprotectiondonnees.be).
Your data stays in the app's private storage, protected by the system: standard iOS file protection on iPhone, the app sandbox of Android on Android. Since we transmit nothing, there is no server-side breach risk on our part.
We Drone is an independent revision app. It is not affiliated with, approved by or certified by EASA, the DGAC, the LBA, the RDW, the ILT, AESA, ENAC, the DGTA/BCAA or any other civil aviation authority, and it issues no certificate: the exam is taken with the competent authority of your State. Content is based on Regulations (EU) 2019/947 and 2019/945 (© European Union, eur-lex.europa.eu, 1998-2026) and on published national law. Only the official texts in force are authoritative.
We may update this Policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version. Material changes will be flagged in the app or on this page.
